Traditional Japanese Room “CHOSEI”

The high prestige Japanese-style room for traditional Japanese cultures.

Each of the three 8-tatami rooms is equipped with its own Japanese style fireplace (with electric furnace) “Ro”, thus can be used for various stages of the traditional tea ceremony from the practice of charcoal setting procedure “Sumi-temae” to the authentic tea gathering “cha-ji”. The three rooms and the corridor can be combined to a single large 30-tatami room, which has its own kitchen and preparation area for tea ceremony “Mizuya”, thus enabling various traditional Japanese culture to take place. This facility also has a Japanese-style garden with stepping-stones “Tobi-ishi”, a stone path “Nobe-dan”, a which gate “Shiori-do”, and a path with a stone wash basin “Tsuku-bai”
